Day by day
Day 1
Arrival in Kigali
Airport pickup, city orientation and a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial before dinner.
Day 2
Transfer to Musanze
Scenic drive north through the terraced hills, afternoon at the Buhanga sacred forest.
Day 3
Gorilla trekking
Early briefing at Volcanoes National Park, then a guided trek to a habituated gorilla family.
Day 4
Twin lakes & Lake Kivu
Boat trip on the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo, then on to Lake Kivu.
Day 5
Return to Kigali
Lakeside morning, craft-market stop and transfer to the airport.
